For Immediate Release: Jan. 14, 2010 Gov. Crist to address Florida Jobs Summit TALLAHASSEE, Fla. Senate President-designate Mike Haridopolos and House Speaker designate Dean Cannon announced today that Gov. Charlie Crist will attend and address the statewide-focused Florida Jobs Summit. The Summit will convene at 7 a.m. Friday at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Orlando to hear ideas from employers and business leaders for boosting investment, economic growth and job creation in the Sunshine State. Almost every Floridian knows a friend or a family member who has lost a job or is otherwise suffering as a result of this crippling recession, said Sen. Haridopolos. Creating jobs will be job No. 1 for the Florida Legislature in the 2010 session, and this Jobs Summit is about coming together and discussing ideas to grow our economy and make Florida more attractive to new investment that will spur the creation of new, goodpaying jobs. Public registration for the event has closed. More than 300 participants have already registered for the event, and while the organizers have sought to open attendance at the event to as many people as possible, the event venue has now reached capacity. Media interested in covering the event can sign-in online for press credentials at www.FloridaJobsSummit.com/media. This tough national economy lends profound urgency to our mission as legislators to help restart robust economic growth in our state, said Rep. Cannon. As Floridas leaders, we must take smart and aggressive steps to provide new incentives for job creation in Florida and remove government obstacles to growth. Producers are now able to utilize the "invite2view" features on their channel. This is a great way to "privatize" viewership. It's great for corporate meetings, weddings, birthday parties, etc.
It's very easy to use also. The producer simply sends an e-mail to as many as, or as few as they wish. Once the e-mail recipient opens the mail the viewer will have a link to the webcast along with a code. The invited clicks on the link and is automatically sent to the "private" webcast, then enters the code. |

WebCast-TV's new Hosting and Streaming service for Live & On-Demand video.
Following a very successful 2008 webcasting season, WebCast-TV knows that to grow its business, it needs to broaden its activities.
Webcast-TV feels for Live webcasting to develop to the next level, it needs to attract more sponsorship & commercial advertising. To do this it is necessary to increase viewing numbers by creating a wider catchment for any potential audience. Event organizers cannot rely purely on those loyal to the event or sport that they are webcasting at that time. They need to reach a far wider group of viewers, just as traditional television does.
WebCast-TV have therefore decided to supplement their existing webcast production service with a new Hosting and Streaming service for Live & On-Demand video. This will include a full listings service of all the channels and video content on the website. They believe that this will complement their existing services as webcasting becomes more universally accept as a replacement to terrestrial television, particularly for live events.
There are already websites such as YouTube and Mogulus offering a free hosting service. Web cast-TV believes that there is a market for a more professional website offering their clients their own webcast channel. All channels will come complete with a ready built web-page for them to host their own Live & On-Demand video. Not only will the channel web-page contain their video content, it will also have other features & widgets to add interest to their productions. The website has been designed so that all the information can be dynamically pulled off our main database. This will allow any producer to add or edit their own content at any time.
By being part the WebCast-TV Global Network, the company believes is the best way forward in attracting viewers to watch their producers video content. By encouraging other broadcasters to use its services, it will enable WebCast-TV to offer a limitless selection of video content, far more than they could have ever hoped to have done by just offering their own productions.
If you are interested in becoming a producer and starting your own channel, please contact us. We will gladly send you details and the costs of our Hosting & Streaming plans. |
